Henna Pamoja was born out of my love for the art of henna, and what started as a creative passion quickly became a way to connect with others. From the early days before 2008 through 2021, my work grew purely by word of mouth. But with over 12 years of encouragement from friends and clients, Henna Pamoja was finally born in 2021. The word pamoja means “together” in Swahili, capturing what henna has always represented to me: community, connection, and the beauty of shared traditions.
